I have over a decade of experience in content marketing: producing everything from infographics, case studies, white papers, web content, newsletters, feature articles, social media content, video and also running content marketing campaigns for multiple clients.
In recent years I’ve expanded my skillset to include other non-writing and non-content skills such as graphic design, digital marketing, social media management, digital project management, fundraising, web design and event management.
Although I would say that my core strength and what I really love doing is writing content and developing content strategies for clients of all sizes.
Most recently I worked concurrently in two roles, one for an NFP Arthritis New Zealand in order to help with planning and executing their organisation’s digital transformation, as well as managing their social media, website and training staff. View more here.
At the same time I was working on a contract for the University of Auckland and assisted them with the creation of a research website The Coronary Atlas. I did the graphic design, web design, content writing, interviewed researchers and translated dense research papers and data into simplified text and engaging, interactive infographics on the site. Prior to that I worked for Brain Research New Zealand, where for 2 years I helped them to build a nascent brand from nothing to becoming well known in the area of neurological research for the ageing brain. This involved managing large events, writing research stories, social media management, PR and media liaison, web content management, internal comms, graphic design, community engagement and more. In terms of my personal interests I keep a blog about history, travel, science, art, music, books and I love a great many things in life including: volunteering, travel, learning languages, cycling and going to see live music.
