I have over a decade of experience in marketing and leading creative digital projects.
In the past I have produced everything from media stories, infographics, case studies and white papers to web content, newsletters and videos for not for profits, and brands in the health sector.
Over the years, while living in Australia, the UK and New Zealand, I have attempted to learn the nuts and bolts of all aspects of marketing such as digital marketing, social media management, graphic design, web design, event management. In order to find the sweet spot: work that I am both good at and that I enjoy (the Japanese art of Ikigai).
I have found that I really enjoy (and I’m pretty good at) content marketing. I enjoy developing content strategies and leading teams from start to finish in content design and development to meet the needs of audiences and organisations.
In the past, I have worked for many organisations in different sectors: NFP, retail, health, education and finance. I have worked both as a freelance consultant as well as on the permanent/contract payroll for various organisations. I have enjoyed mixing these forms of employment, because variety is important for enriching one’s working life, experience and skills.
I am a super creative person. On weekends you will either find me hill walking in Wellington with my partner or curled up with a book. Some of my favourite subjects are science, languages, etymology and medieval history. I enjoy deep-diving into online rabbit holes to investigate these obscure topics and writing about them.
I have a lot of energy, passion, enthusiasm and skills to connect the dots and highlight and sell brands in a myriad of creative ways.
